Plot

First Half
I met her first in subway to Incheon. Unless she wasn't drunken, she was totally my style. She was so weird. i was looking at her because drunken she was so cute. and then suddenly she was puking to old man's head who was sitting in front of her.
And she called 'Honey' to me, and passed out.
I was in very uncomfortable situation.
She was so hurt by love. But i wanted to cure her.

second half

Recently, she looks so happy. when i see her smile, i am more happy. But i am not sure i helped her or not.
I know it will be the time we have be break up.
and today, we are going to make 'Time capsule'. we make appointment, that is after 2years we will get here together, and open this capsule.

About 엽기. If you want to know about 2000 in korea(I mean early 2000), you must watch this movie. This movie makes sensation at that time. this movie's name in korean is '엽기적인 그녀'. and it means 'Girl who is 엽기'.  '엽기 yeopgi' is most important part to understand 2000. It means 'something weird and freak'. in this movie, she was weird and act very unpredictable. but no one can dislike her. that is '엽기'. weird but everyone like that.

About trend which this movie made. This movie made so many trend. Because of this, there was trend like dressing school uniform in club, time capsule, train traveling, piano 'Canon Variations'...... You can find 'time capsule' field in Gangwondo Jungsun. sometimes korean used to say Jungsun couldn't live without this movie.

About 'Jeon jihyeon'. Before 'Suzi' debuted in 'Introduction to architecture', 'Jeon jihyeon' represented 'first love'. She has long natural black hair, and studying music, but there is something hurt. Most man in korea want that style. I think someone like this style because of this movie. If you already watch 'Man from the star', you know how much lovely she is.

About rain. in middle of this film, there was talking about 'Shower'. Rain represent symbol of korean first love. There is a novel which makes korean first love image about rain. That is 'Shower' by Hwang soonwon. He is one of best author in korea. this novel makes image of first love to korea. story like this.

'Shower' story is like this. There was one boy in countryside. one day, he met some girl from Seoul. He felt some thing emotion. They met by chance in stepping stones. He was waiting in one side before crossing the stepping stones because she was in middle of stepping stones. But she threw the little stone suddenly, and said 'Idiot', and went to other side. and next day, she was in middle of stepping stone, but he went beside her and had good time together. One day, when they was just walking, it was suddenly showering. Although they were going back, water flowed too much over the stepping stone. so he carried her in his back. After that, he couldn't see her during several days. when they met again, she was wearing the sweater which it was showering. She said 'A stein in this sweater is from you that day'. so his face was going red. after that, he just heard she moved back to Seoul. one night, he couldn't sleep thinking about her. He overheard his parents talk coincident. His father said she was dead because of blood cancer, and when she was dying, she said 'Please bury me with this sweater' as a will.

It is actual story. Not a whole part but basic plot is based on real. But they didn't meet again since putting capsule.

I recommend this as most wonderful romantic comedy movie in korea.
