War of the arrows, 최종병기 활

Plot

In 1636, there is invasion by 'Chung'. Josun is not ready for war, so it makes so many prisoner of war about 500,000. 

'Namyi' is good archer, but he is son of betrayer( actually not a betrayer). when his father was kiiled, he says to his son, 'Namyi', 'find my friend 'Museon' in north'. when 'Namyi' ans his sister go to 'Museon's house, he adopted them.

he lives only because of his little sister 'Jain'. but 'Seogun', who is son of 'Museon', want to marry Jain.

'Namyi' worry because they are son and daughter of betrayer. When 'Jain' get married, raiders of 'Chung' attack suddenly, and 'Jain' and his husband 'Seogun' is became their prisoner. 'Namyi' chases them to find 'Jain' and her huband.

His accurate aiming makes 'chung's general chase him. to save his sister, 'Namyi' fight against whole army.

About background, it is time after 13 later 'Injo' became king. In film, when 'Namyi's father was killed, he was side of 'Gwanghae'. but there is the other side to make 'Injo' king. 'Namyi' father was killed by the other side. 'Gwanghae' was abdicated. this 'Gwanghae' is same king you already know. also i posted about film, 'Gwanghae'

About archery, In korea, most popular and most important sports is archery. Josun as well as all country which was in korea area like 'Gojosun', 'Goguryeo', 'Beakje', 'Silla', 'Goryeo' thought archery is so important. also most nobles study archery. and there is story which so many king in Josun was good archer. for example, 'Teajo' who made 'Josun' was called 'god of archery' at that time. when he fought with enemy, he killed enemy general just 2 arrows. and you already know korean archer get golden medal so much in Olympics. 

About 'Ryu seungryong'(general in film), he was in 'Gift of room 7', 'Gwanghae'

About 'Mun chaewon'(Jain in film), she is not in so many film, but she is in drama.
