Plot

In 1990's, It was age of war against crime. 'Han gyungbae' who is main anchor of broad casting has a 9 year old son. But one day, his son disappeared without any trace. After that, some kidnapper called and asked 100 million won(100 thousand dollar). 'Oh jisun' who is wife called police and it makes secret investigation headquarters. But smart kidnapper avoided all police and made several call to them. Only clue is voice of kidnapper. elegant call tone, but there is no mercy in voice. After 40 days passed kid disappeared, 'Gyungbae' and 'Jisun' couldn't know their son's live or death. Finally, 'Gyungbae' contacts kidnapper without police.

About background. when in 1990's, there were so many crime happened. as you see, in 1980's, there were so many gangster crime happened and government declared 'War against crime'. so police power was became so huge and it made people feel safe. almost 100 thousand police involved to solve this case but can't find until now.. This case is based on real. difference of this movie is father isn't anchor. But in end of this film, you can hear real voice of kidnapper. It makes so many concerning about this case. but that kidnapper isn't catched yet. This film director was assistant director of crime documentary program who investigated this case.  and he felt so much anger of this crime.

About three unsolved case. this case is so called one of three unsolved case at that time. these three case are 'Hwasung chainsaw', 'Frog children disappearing', and this case 'voice'. You already see 'Hwasung chainsaw' in 'Memories of murder'. and 'Frog disappearing' is case in 'Gangjin, Jeollanamdo'. Children lived in 'Gangjin' went out to catch a frog, and disappeared.
