Plot

Feburary of 1953. korean war truce was almost breakdown. In one of tough east war zone, 'Aerok highland', a leader of that unit was killed by ally's bullet. government thought it was connected with enemy, so they sent 'Kang eunpyo' to find out the truth.

When he arrived in there, he found his old friend, 'Kim soohyuk', thought already dead. He was very week and afraid war private. but now he is lieutenant same with 'Eunpyo'. 'Eunpyo' found something weird in his unit. they put on enemy's clothes, and so young captain lead them now.

That 'Highland battle' was real. detail is little different but about battle is real.

About Korean war, it was held in 25 june 1950. it is used to say because of invasion of north korea. it was tragedy in korean history. because they must have killed each other who were friends until war begin. First, South korea retrograded until 'Nakdonggang' close to Busan. then Incheon landing operation was success, South korea pushed until 'Ahprokgang' close to end of North korea. but military of china involved south korea went back to close to Seoul. and the war was end.

This movie is based on last battle until truce.
